Ila Bossons, my beautiful mother, passed away on November 30th, 2020, at the age of 83.
This page has been setup to collect and share stories and photos of her life, and make them available to everyone who loved her.
John and I would be so grateful for you to share your stories or recollections of her. Nothing was too small to bring her joy, so please donβt hesitate to share even the tiniest stories.
If you have any photos of her they would be immensely appreciated.
You can send stories or photos to miles@mbossons.com, or just send me an email to be notified when we have collected our thoughts and memories and put them here. If you just want to leave a message, click this link.
The Toronto Star published a good account of her civic work, which you can read here. My favourite line is that βshe could talk a freight-train up a mountainβ.
In lieu of flowers, you may consider a donation to the Toronto Regional Conservation Authority. Ila would be thrilled to know that you were helping grow and protect green spaces all around Toronto.
Thank you to those you have reached out or to those I have spoken to already. I will be in touch as this page is completed, and John and I can share our thoughts and love for Ila.
Sincerely,
Miles and John Bossons
